Seelenflucht

“Seelenflucht” describes a moment of letting go. The pale forms seem to loosen themselves from the darkness and move upward. They can be read as souls, thoughts or memories leaving their former boundaries behind. The deep blue gives the picture both calm and a mysterious depth. This is not flight in the literal sense but the wish to overcome an inner state. The work leaves open whether the movement means farewell, release or a new beginning.
