Bindung

“Bindung” is concerned with the invisible connections between people. Individual figures appear small against the great space, and yet a palpable sense of community arises between them. The vertical movements of colour act like forces bearing on that community from outside. Closeness and distance exist at the same time. The work asks what binds people to one another even when words and visible relationships are absent. Connection appears here not as a fixed tie but as an inner, barely graspable web.
