Brocken Spirit

Above a dark landscape a luminous moon appears like a silent observer. Its light touches the water and creates a connection between sky and earth. “Brocken Spirit” grew out of the idea of a place where reality, nature and myth pass into one another. The darkness feels not threatening but mysterious and sheltering. Light becomes a symbol of orientation in a world that cannot be fully explained. The picture invites us to suspect a second reality behind the visible one.
