An interior where several scenes run at once: two skeletons and a startled man in a dark suit at the left; at the centre a green, screaming giant rising from a stove among gears and melting clocks. At the right a woman works at a computer while a man in a suit sits with a coffee cup in a pink armchair. Below, a girl in a wizard's hat with a crystal ball and a black cat sits on a bed beside an old witch reading; in the middle a woman in a green dress dances with a mop through glowing swirls of water. Open books radiate light from the floor.

The House of Many Realities

Within a single room numerous stories exist at once. Work, fear, magic, death, childhood and the everyday meet one another without a clear border. Melting clocks and glowing books dissolve the normal order of time and space. Each figure seems to live in a reality of its own and yet remains part of the same composition. The house thereby becomes an image of human consciousness with all its contradictory parts. “The House of Many Realities” tells of how many worlds can exist at the same time inside one person.
