An old woman in a dark shawl holds a glowing peacock-feather wand over a table where a luminous young woman sits. A man in a suit and a black shadow figure stand at the right, masks hang on the walls, a spiral galaxy turns above.

The Keeper of Hidden Worlds

A mysterious older woman faces a luminous young figure. Between them a knowledge seems to be handed on that escapes rational explanation. Masks, shadows and the spiral galaxy widen the scene into a space between different levels of consciousness. The figures can be read as different generations, as parts of one personality, or as archetypal forces. The keeper guards no particular door but the way to hidden insight. The work is concerned with intuition, inner knowledge, and those regions of the psyche that show themselves only in dreams.
